Day 4 of Summer School continues this afternoon where students designed and made relaxing sensory bottles. Children loved experimenting with the colours and coming up with some interesting colours and tone matching. Sophie one of our sixth form transition leaders did an amazing job leading the session and explaining the process. We also had competitions of tag rugby in the field with Mr Butler and Harry one of our sixth form transition leaders. Students entered into the spirit of our amazing sport opportunities and we’ve already spotted some potential candidates for our boys and girls Year 7 rugby teams. #proudtobecampion...

Day 4 of Summer School and students have had a Battle of the Silent Disco playlists between Miss DJ Doligala and MC Jaiden, one of our sixth form transition leaders. Not sure who has the winning tunes but students are dancing and singing along and are having great fun. To calm things down a little Mrs Walton has been teaching some British Sign Language (BSL) and students should be able to sign their names when they get home. #proudtobecampion...

Today, our summer school students were joined by Falconry UK for a live demonstration, including lots of interesting facts and the chance for some students to have a go at holding the magnificent birds. Students were fully engaged, asking lots of questions - what a great experience!...
