We are very excited to welcome Aston who will be joining us for My Culture Day! He will be performing and talking to our students about his experiences. Born in Zimbabwe, raised in Dubai, studying at University in New York & now living in London, Aston Star is an emerging name to watch in the Entertainment industry. Inspired by legends such as Donna Summer and Michael Jackson, and Dua Lipa, Aston’s debut single ‘Love Comes to You’ introduces listeners to his signature sound: a vibrant dance-pop record infused with vintage disco elements. Aston is also a trained dancer in contemporary, street dance, lyrical, afro, commercial styles, acrobatics, and hip-hop becoming the first United Arab Emirates (UAE) based student to win this UDO World Street Dance Championships. Aston is passionate about sharing his personal experiences. Having faced bullying, mental health challenges, and the pressures of fitting in at school, he speaks openly and honestly with young people. Through his sessions, Aston hopes to offer reassurance, practical advice, and encouragement, showing students that it’s possible to overcome setbacks and follow their own path. #proudtobecampion...
