Student Attendance Awards

Dear Parents/Carers

As we progress through the academic year, I would like to take this opportunity to discuss the importance of student attendance and the rewards we have in place to encourage consistent attendance especially for the last two weeks of this half term.

Regular attendance is crucial for your child's academic success and overall development. When students attend school consistently, they benefit from uninterrupted learning, build strong relationships with their peers and teachers, and develop essential social skills. Furthermore, studies have shown a direct correlation between high attendance rates and improved academic performance.

We have established clear expectations regarding attendance and punctuality. We encourage all students to arrive on time and attend school every day. Our attendance policy outlines the procedures for reporting absences and the importance of communicating with the school regarding any issues that may affect your child's attendance.

To celebrate and encourage excellent attendance across the last two weeks of this term, we will be recognising students who achieve outstanding attendance. Here’s how it works:

  • Students with 100% attendance each week will be entered into a draw to win a £40 Just-eat voucher. Each week we will be giving away 2 of these.
  • Students with 95% or more will be entered into a draw to win a “Jump the Queue” pass, for them and their friend for one week.

This is just the start of our attendance rewards, more to come soon.

We understand that circumstances may arise that can impact attendance. If your child is facing challenges that affect their ability to attend school regularly, please do not hesitate to get in touch. We are here to support your family and can work together to address any barriers to attendance.

We appreciate your continued support in promoting the importance of attendance. Together, we can ensure that every student at Campion School has the opportunity to thrive academically and socially.

Thank you for your cooperation and commitment to your child's education.

Yours sincerely

Mr N Patel
